The away side proved too much for LLFC as they ran out 2-0 victors at Halton Stadium.
A powerful effort from Sophie Reiser opened the scoring, and Jennifer Williams’ finely placed chip saw Bay Area Breeze produce a solid lead within the first half.
Just before the whistle, Breeze found the chance to extend their lead, but Ally Wagner’s effort was denied by the crossbar.
The Reds had the chance to pull one back 15 minutes into the second half, when they were awarded a penalty after a Breeze defender was judged to have handled in the box.
Kelly Jones stepped up but blasted just over the bar.
Breeze again squandered another opportunity when Wagner found herself one on one with Nicky Davies just outside the box. Her shot accidentally hit the keepers hand but nothing came from the resulting free kick.
Liverpool fired a series of second half shots in an attempt to level the scores, but their efforts were in vain and never troubled Breeze’s keeper Ednie Limage.
The Ladies will look to improve after a string of defeats, in time for their clash this Sunday at home to Lincoln Ladies.
Final Score - Liverpool Ladies 0 - 2 Bay Area Breeze
