Q&A with Nicki Harding

Nicki gives us the lowdown on life on and off the pitch

FOOTBALL

Any pre-match superstitions?

I always warm up wearing my earrings, and then when I’m getting ready for the match I’ll put my shorts on first

What do you eat before a game?

Usually it’s Weetabix or jam on toast

Who is your favourite ever football player?

Carlos Alberto

Who has had the biggest influence on your career?

I would have to say my granddad he always supported and encouraged me to do whatever I wanted to, and to become the person I wanted to be.

How old were you when you started playing football?

I was about eight when I started playing in my school’s football team

What’s your favourite and least favourite part of training?

I actually like all aspects of training, even the fitness elements.

What is your most-played song on your ipod at the moment?

Nicki Minaj - Your Love.

What is your favourite film?

I don't have a favourite film really, I like watching all type of films.  Love and Basketball is a classic though.

What are your favourite TV programmes?

I’d say it’s Jersey Shore.

What were your best and worst subjects at school?

PE was my best subject, but I wasn’t very good at French unfortunately.

What was your favourite ever holiday?

When I went to Cyprus.....it has unbelievable white beaches.

What was the last book you read?

I am more of a magazine girl really, I read loads of them.
