At their rearranged friendly with Manchester City the new look Liverpool side started their friendly programme with a win.
Liverpool opened in the scoring after a couple of minutes when Fara Williams opened her Liverpool account by netting from a free kick.
An embarrassing own goal by the City Keeper extended Liverpool Lead to give them a 2-0 score line at the break.
Nicole Rolser also marked her Liverpool debut with a goal when she scored from a Fara Williams cross.
Liverpool kept the clean sheet and ran out 3-0 winners.
Liverpool would like to thank all those who attended after this game was hastily rearranged. We look forward to seeing you all again at our home friendly with Leeds on Tuesday 5th Feb. KO 7.30pm.
