Jones to raise money for charity.
While most of the Liverpool Ladies players will be enjoying a rare Sunday off this weekend, midfielder Chloe Jones will be getting stuck into a different sporting campaign.
Chloe is undertaking the famous Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for charity.
Adventurous Chloe will scale Snowdon in Wales, Scalfel Pike in Cumbria and Scotland’s Ben Nevis – all in 24 hours.
The money raised will be split among 10 charities, including Age UK and Air Ambulance, facilitated by Leicester City’s Foxes Foundation, where Chloe also works in its community department.
Chloe said: “When we received the fixture list, I knew that I had a break over the weekend so decided that’s when I’d do the Peaks.
“As a footballer, we train regularly and we’re in good physical condition but it will be a real challenge both mentally and physically. All the girls in the team have been really supportive as well, giving me plenty of tips on how to keep my energy levels up.
“It’ll definitely be worth it as it’s all to raise money for the charities and I’m so grateful to everyone that’s sponsored me so far.”
